  1. I can’t seem to hide my floating tools now that I’ve updated to 11.3. I don’t get the option to “hide floating tools” when I press the blue button that looks like an old ipod nano! It now says “Smart system menu” rather than “smart board tools”

    What do you suggest?

    • You can “Show Floating Tools” or “Hide Floating Tools” in the SMART Tools menu. It is loaded to the Windows Notification Area (lower right of window near the clock) when SMART Notebook is installed. See the blog post “Using SMART Tools” from July 22 for a picture of the Tools icon. The red “x” is in the corner if no SMART Board is connected to the computer. If a computer is connected, the Tool icon will look more like the picture in the Sept. 19 blog post.

how do you take colors a way from the toolbar

    • The colors are part of the changeable properties in text, ink, and shapes so cannot be removed.
If you want to remove the total toolbar, you can use the Full Page option in the View menu or View Tool.
